Shelly was born May 11, 1973, in Lincoln County, to Johnny Woodruff and the late Julie Dellinger Avery.
She is survived by two sons, Brad Bass of Greensboro and John Bass of China Grove; and one brother, Von Woodruff of Lincolnton.
