Gregory Edward Kiser

Gregory Edward Kiser, age 63, of 7581 Sifford Road in Stanley, died on Sunday, April 23, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2017, at Hills Chapel United Methodist Church, 988 S. Business Highway 16, Stanley, NC 28164. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Kiser was born February 4, 1954, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Donald Edward Kiser and Frances McIntosh Kiser. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Carl Kiser. Gregory earned his Eagle Scout award and remained active in helping others following behind him to achieve the same.
He is survived by two sisters, Faye Cavin, and husband Robert, of Huntersville, and Emily May, and husband Charlie, of Columbia, SC; a niece, Matty May; a nephew, Chas May; and many loving cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hills Chapel UMC Sanctuary Fund, 988 S. Business Highway 16, Stanley, NC 28164; Helping Hands Specialized Transport NC, PO Box 772, Landis, NC 28088; or to the Boy Scout Troop of your choice.
