Johnny Herman Mace

Johnny Herman Mace, age 59, of 998 Lakeland Avenue in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, April 23, 2017.
His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Providence Road Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Worley officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the service. Visitation will be from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Johnny was born November 22, 1957, in Lincoln County, to the late Johnny Raymond Mace and Phyllis Mincey Mace. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Scott and Mark Mace.
He is survived by his wife, Gaile Vassey Mace of the home; daughters, Tabitha Engle and Erin Fisher, both of Lincolnton; son, Wesley Mace of Lincolnton; stepson, Timmy Parlier of Vale; brothers, Tim Mace and Mike Mace, both of Lincolnton; sisters, Rhonda Brown, Leslie Patterson, and Barbara Helton, all of Lincolnton; sister-in-law, Amanda Hudson of Lincolnton; fourteen grandchildren; father and mother-in-law, Elbert and Eulene Vassey of Alexis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
