Beverly Jane Canipe Ward

Beverly Jane Canipe Ward, age 63, of Dale Avenue in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Bill Bingham and Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Friday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ward was born August 16, 1953, in Lincoln County, to the late Charles Ray and Ethel Sherrill Canipe. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Milton Canipe. She worked as a nurse for 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, James S. Ward of the home; a daughter, Kasida McKinney, and husband Neil, of Spruce Pine; and four grandchildren, Karrigan Jane Crisson, Kailyn Skye McKinney, James Keaton McKinney, and Isabella Katheryn McKinney.
