Mary Gilbert Keziah
( May 5, 1933 - March 26, 2017 )
Mary Gilbert Keziah, age 83, of Highway 27 West in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, March 26, 2017.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Butch Ross officiating. At other times the family will be at the home of her granddaughter, Ericka Carpenter, 3636 Highway 182 in Lincolnton.
Mrs. Keziah was born May 5, 1933, in St. Augustine, Florida, to the late Gaston and Ila Leonhardt Gilbert. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ben David Keziah; and brothers, Marshall, Bob, Hal, Bill, Marvin, and John Gilbert. She retired as an operator-dispatcher for Southern Bell.
She is survived by a son, David Bryant Keziah, and wife Kelly, of Lincolnton; a daughter, Debbie Keziah of the home; a brother, Jerry Gilbert, Sr., and wife Geraldine, of Lincolnton; sister-in-law, Evelyn Gilbert; three grandchildren, Ericka Carpenter, and husband Brett, Breanna Keziah, and Lauren Keziah, all of Lincolnton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the National Stroke Association, 9707 E. Easter Lane, Suite B, Centennial, CO 80112, or to the charity of one’s choice.
