Betty Lou Minnick, age 71, of Hillside Drive in Lincolnton, died on Monday, March 27, 2017.
A private service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Betty was born September 24, 1945, in Smyth County, Virginia, to the late Howard C. and Virginia Orr Minnick. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jean Navey.
She is survived by a nephew, Ben Navey, and wife Lisa, of Lincolnton; a niece, Sheila Rudisill, and husband Todd, of Crouse; special friend, Richard Houk of Lincolnton; two great-nephews; one great-niece; three great-great nieces; and one great-great nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catawba Regional Hospice, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
