Frances Eyvonne Heafner Curtis

Frances Eyvonne Heafner Curtis, age 81, of Dave Heafner Road in Crouse, died on Monday, March 13, 2017.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2017, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Crouse with Rev. Rick Sloop officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will ie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Curtis was born February 16, 1936, in Homestead, Florida, to the late Dave and Moree Elmore Heafner. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four brothers; two sisters; a son, Jim Curtis; a grandson, Kyle Garver; and a daughter-in-law, Tonya Curtis. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Donald Curtis of the home; two sons, Kenny Curtis, and wife Sandy, of Crouse, and Jerry Curtis of Lincolnton; two brothers, Tom Heafner of Crouse and Glen Heafner of Vale; two sisters, Linda Gilmore and Carolyn Canipe, both of Crouse; seven grandchildren, A.J. Curtis, Emily Curtis, Rebekah Curtis, Cole Curtis, Austin Curtis, Jaden Curtis, and Gracie Curtis; and three great-grandchildren, Hunter Curtis, Hallie Curtis, and Savanna Curtis.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, PO Box 131, Crouse, NC 28033.
