Franklin D. "Bill" Hawkins

Franklin D. “Bill” Hawkins, age 84, of Cardinal Health Care, died on Sunday, March 12, 2017.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2017, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Hawkins was born June 5, 1932, in Lincoln County, to the late James Lee and Janie Reinhardt Hawkins. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings. He was a carpenter, as well as an evangelical preacher.
He is survived by a daughter, Donna Nadine Hawkins of Denver; four sons, James Franklin Hawkins, and wife Serena, of Lincolnton, Scotty Floyd Hawkins of Lincolnton, L. John Hawkins of Newton, and Timothy Andrew Hawkins of Lincolnton; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
