Darryl Dean Helms, age 53, of Reepsville Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, March 5, 2017.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Reepsville Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Hull and Rev. Ricky Sigmon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Darryl was born July 21, 1963, in Lincoln County, to the late Grady Helms, Sr. and Josephine Bivens Helms.
He is survived by his brother, Grady Helms, Jr. of Lincolnton; four sisters, Jeanette H. Canipe of Cherryville, Libby Jean H. Allen of Lincolnton, Kathleen H. Allen and Janice Ann H. Kester, both of Vale; and a number of nieces and nephews.
