James Daniel Goodson

Mr. James Daniel Goodson, age 70, of Hwy 150 East in Lincolnton, passed away on March 2, 2017.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, March 6, 2017, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Ervin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00pm until 1:45pm prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Goodson was born on July 7, 1946, son of the late James Robert and Elizabeth Finger Goodson. He was preceded in death by his wife Lynda Ann Dennison Goodson. Mr. Goodson worked for Bell South as a mechanical engineer before retiring, and also ran Dan’s Speed and Custom.
Survivors include: one son Stan Goodson, and wife Heather, of Maiden; one brother, Mike Goodson of Lincolnton; and two grandsons, Casey Hughes, and Cody Hughes, and wife Whitney.
