Josephine Gragg Elmore
( January 10, 1937 - January 23, 2017 )
Josephine (Jo) G. Elmore, age 80, of Highway 150 in Crouse, passed away peacefully at home on January 23, 2017.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery with Pastor Rick Sloop officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Warlick Funeral Home.
She was born on January 10, 1937, in Gaston County. Preceding her in death was her husband of 49 wonderful years, Max Elmore Jo enjoyed gardening and working in her yard with her friend, Tamie Gates.
Left to cherish her memory are twin sons, Barry Elmore and wife Maureen, and Larry Elmore and wife Una, all of Lincolnton; four grandchildren, Jason, Jake, Sara, and Matthew; and one great-grandson, Landyn.
Memorials may be made to the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Building Fund, PO Box 131, Crouse, NC 28033.
