Betty Vaughn Rogers Moser

Betty Vaughn Rogers Moser, age 86, of 631 Heather Drive in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, January 19, 2017.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 23, 2017, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Collins and Rev. Dr. Robert Sims officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. in the North Wing of Emmanuel Lutheran Church prior to the service.
Mrs. Moser was born September 29, 1930, in Stanly County, to the late Martin Luther and Carrie Moody Rogers. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Moser of the home; one son, Robert Franklin Moser, Jr. (Jan), of Hendersonville, TN; four daughters, Pamela Mayer (David) of Dublin, OH, Sandra Lawson (Kevin) of Dublin, OH, Catherine Lounsbury (Stephen) of Lincolnton, and Cynthia Smith (Marty) of Denver; a brother, William “Bill” Rogers (Ruth Ann) of Albemarle; a sister-in-law, Beatrice Joyner of Pleasant Garden, NC; eleven grandchildren, Robert Mayer (Enid), Brad Mayer (Heather), Carrie Mayer, Suzanne Rippel (Matt), Michelle Terry (Brad), Scott Lawson (Sarah), James Wakulsky, Robert F. Moser, III (Krista), Kristen Nix (Brandon), Kara Smith, and Chris Smith (Alaina); thirteen great-grandchildren, Raegan and Anniston Mayer, Noah, Eli, Joshua and Alice Terry, Makenzie and Brayden Rippel, Eleanor and Marie Lawson, Kennedy Moser, Hayes Nix, and Jaxon Smith; and two step-grandchildren, Colleen and Patrick Lounsbury.
