Sharon Hovis Stowe

Sharon Hovis Stowe, age 74, of 22nd Avenue, East, in Seattle, died on Wednesday, January 18, 2017.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2017, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Sharon was born January 28, 1942, in Caldwell County, to the late Barnett Monroe and Lena Smith Hovis. She worked as an insurance agent for Allstate.
She is survived by her two sons, Vann Abernethy and Neil Abernethy; two grandchildren, Kenton Abernethy and Thomas Abernethy; one brother, Robert Hovis; and two sisters, Ardenia Sain and Lois Graham.
Memorials may be made to the Lincoln County 4-H Program, 115 W. Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
