Doris Jean Shull

Doris Jean Shull, age 75, of Mack Ballard Road in Maiden, died on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.
Mrs. Shull was born March 17, 1941, in Lincoln County, to the late Ernest and Edith Burgess McCorkle. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Bob Shull. She worked as a clerk for the State of North Carolina.
She is survived by two brothers, Sam McCorkle and Gary McCorkle, both of Lincolnton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Friendly Chapel Baptist Church.
