Rachel Elizabeth Baker Loftin, age 92, of Victory Grove Church Road in Lincolnton, died on Friday, January 6, 2017.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, in the High Shoals Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ken Gibson officiating.
Mrs. Loftin was born May 16, 1924, in Lincoln County, to the late Hugh and Eunice Abernethy Baker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Grady Roy Loftin, Sr., and a son, Buddy Loftin. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Loftin Harkey, and husband Darrell, of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
