Della Bryant Brown
( March 6, 1915 - December 28, 2016 )
Della Bryant Brown, age 101, of Stanley Total Living Center, and formerly of Little Rock Road in Charlotte, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016, at Thrift United Methodist Church with Rev. Mel Burton officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Brown was born March 6, 1915, to the late Oscar M. and Molly Van Dora Hogue. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Andrew Brown. She worked as a dietitian.
She is survived by two special nieces, Shirley Jones and Kathy Valentine, both of Lincolnton; and other nieces and nephews.
