Charles Leonard Brown

Charles Leonard Brown, age 89, of E. Lincoln Street in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, December 20, 2016.
His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Whitman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Charles was born December 20, 1927, in Caldwell County, to the late Charlie and Savanah Clark Brown. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Louise Pope Brown. He worked in furniture manufacturing.
He is survived by three sons, Wiley Brown, James Donald Brown, and Charles Danny Brown, all of Lincolnton; two daughters, Patricia Sigmon and Judy Sain, both of Lincolnton; one sister, Mary Goodson of Lincolnton; thirteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
