Kathryn Sue Cook Story, age 70, of Jordan Circle in Lincolnton, died on Monday, November 21, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Calloway officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Story was born August 12, 1946, in Avery County, to the late Charles Don and Maxine Mitchell Cook. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, William W. Story of the home; a son, Kevin Story of Lincolnton; three daughters, Susan Story McLean of Lenoir, Pam Story of Lincolnton, and Beverly Story Ellis of Bristol, TN; two brothers, Charles Richard Cook and Christopher David Cook, both of Lenoir; one sister, Verna Lou West of Ferguson; twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 3387 E. Highway 150, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
