Clarence Wiley Poindexter

Clarence Wiley Poindexter, age 74, died on Friday, November 18, 2016.
His service will be held 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 20, 2016 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Garry Revels officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow with DAV Graveside Rites at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Clarence was born January 3, 1942, in Macon County, to the late Woodrow and Alma Welch Poindexter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Alan Wiley Poindexter. Mr. Poindexter was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked as a manager in textiles.
He is survived by a daughter, Sharon Page and husband Richard of Denver; a brother, Terrell Poindexter and wife Mary of Gaffney, SC; and three grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron and Sean Page.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in his memory.
