Joyce Faye Rhoades Miller, age 69, of 233 Flat Rock Drive in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, October 26, 2016.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2016, in the Travis Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:15 p.m. on Saturday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Joyce was born February 5, 1947, in Hereford, Texas, to the late Ferman Louise and Pauline Faye Lambert Rhoades. She was a loving mother of many honors. Joyce was a member of the Cross Country Cowboy Church and loved her church and her church family.
She is survived by a son, Jessie Shannon of Greenville, SC; four daughters, Debbie Hamilton, and husband Paul, of Granbury, TX, Donna Klingenburg, and husband Douglas, of George, Iowa, Nancy Lemon of San Antonio, TX, and Sheila Lyman, and husband Jeff, of Primghar, Iowa; a son, Ricky Shannon, and wife Donna, of Lincolnton; a son, Bobby Lemon of Hominy, Oklahoma; two brothers, Dusty Rhoades, and wife Eloria, and Robert Rhoades, and wife Charollette; a sister, Joanna Naverette; sixteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
