Lucas Keegan Stelzer-Gilbert

Lucas Keegan Stelzer-Gilbert, age 18, of Cat Square Road in Lincolnton, and formerly of Cocker Spaniel Court in Iron Station, died on Tuesday, September 20, 2016.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Reeps Grove United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Lucas was born September 29, 1997, in Iredell County, to Clay Andrew Gilbert and Jessica Lynn Stelzer Menegay. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Keith Gilbert.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jessica and Paul Menegay of Iron Station; father, Clay Gilbert of Vale; brothers, Paulie Menegay and Dylan Menegay; sister, Cassidy Grace Menegay; maternal grandparents, Mike and Patty Stelzer of Denver; paternal grandmother, Sue Gilbert of Lincolnton; uncle, Jason Gilbert of Lincolnton; aunts, Allison Neal, and husband Chris, of Crouse, and Heidi Cerrato, and husband Robert, of Charlotte; cousins Jacob Neal and Olivia Cerrato; his dearest friend, Selena Sikes; and numerous others.
Memorials may be made to Reeps Grove United Methodist Church Youth Ministry, 7401 Reeps Grove Church Road, Vale, NC 28168.
