Janice Smith Land

Janice Smith Land, age 68, of 557 Hoyle Street in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, September 8, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Land was born November 7, 1947, in Cleveland County, to the late Frank and Louise Goins Smith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Lee Land; two brothers, Michael and David Smith; and a sister, Ann Smith. She worked in furniture manufacturing.
She is survived by a daughter, Angie L. Rose, and husband Billy, of Lincolnton; two brothers, Gene Smith of Vale and Jerry Smith of Lincolnton; three sisters, Mary Lane of Vale, and Lori Williams and Hazel Helms, both of Lincolnton; one grandson, Josh Rose of Lincolnton; and one great-granddaughter, Paizlee Rose of Lincolnton.
Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice for Robin Johnson Hospice House, 258 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
