Ruby Allen Poteat

Ruby Allen Poteat, age 80, of 172 Hauss Road in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, September 7, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Hull officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2016, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Ruby was born October 31, 1935, in Cleveland County, to the late Jasper Loren and Cecil Bowen Allen. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Bob Poteat; two daughter’s, Kelly Morgan and Susan Hedrick; . She worked in textiles for thirty plus years.
She is survived by a sister, Mary Heavner of Lincolnton; and two grandchildren, Joshua Hedrick and Josey Morgan, both of Lincolnton.
