Danny James Ballenger

Danny James Ballenger, age 67, of 1545 George Brown Road in Crouse, died on Sunday, September 4, 2016.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Rick Sloop officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Danny was born October 18, 1948, in Lincoln County, to the late Clyde James and Margaret Heafner Ballenger. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Ballenger. He worked in furniture manufacturing and also was a farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Black Ballenger of the home; a son, Joshua Ballenger (Megan) of Crouse; a daughter, Danya Cash (Chris) of Crouse; two special nephews, David Warner (Brenda) of Crouse, and Tim Warner (Angie) of Lincolnton; two brothers, Paul Ballenger (Donna), and Clyde Ballenger (Tammy), all of Crouse; one sister, Melinda Hull (Glenn) of Vale; and fourteen grandchildren, Adrianna, Mallary, Lawson, Madison, Carson, Blakelynn, Lincoln, Dylan, Emily, Gracelynn, Lanie, Travis, Coleman, and Cameron.
