Obituaries

Mrs. Carolyn Jane Carpenter Laws age 69 of J. Huffsteller Lane Lincolnton died on September 3, 2016.

A memorial service will be held 3:00pm Sunday September 11, 2016 at Westview Baptist Church,, 3385 Fairview Dr. Gastonia, NC  with Rev. Jerry Milwood, Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:45pm prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Laws was born in Lincoln County daughter of the Late Richard and Beatrice Harwell Carpenter. She was preceded in death by one brother Richard Carpenter.  Mrs. Laws worked in the furniture industry before retiring.

Survivors include: husband Frank of the home; two sons Robert Rudisill of Bessemer City and Scott Rudisill of Gastonia; four sisters Faye Wiggins of Gastonia, Vivian Yoder of Stanley, Sandra Woody of Louisville N.C. and Susan Carpenter of Clemens N.C.; two granddaughters Katie and Savannah Rudisill.
