Richard Avery Jones

Richard Avery “Rick” Jones, age 58, of 5748 High Plains Court in Iron Station, died on Monday, August 29, 2016.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2016, at his home, 5748 High Plains Court in Iron Station.
Rick was born January 5, 1958, in Lorain, Ohio, to Ernest Jones and the late Drusia Fisher “Ruth” Jones. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Jeff.
Rick Jones was a builder/master carpenter in residential construction, but truly a jack of all trades and mastered them all. His biggest attribute was the ability to like and love everyone he crossed paths with. To know him, you knew him forever, as he never met a stranger. He will be missed by all of his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Amelia Jones of the home; his children, Jeremy, Jennie, Jason, Kenny, Ernie, Rikki, and Shelby; his father, Ernest Jones; two brothers, Ronald and Cliff; grandchildren, Quentin, Macy, Brynlee, Nick, Autumn, Kyle, Marcus, Jessa, Jendayah, Haley, Jorden, Jayden, Jenna, Bella, and Broden; and one great-grandchild, Rylee.
The family would like to express special thanks to Wini at Dickson Heart Unit, CMC Main Campus, and friend/Sister, Sandra “Sandy” Mullis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been requested to be made to the family for medical expenses.
