Paul Wade Stroupe, age 82, of Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center, died on Monday, August 15, 2016.
Mr. Stroupe was born April 12, 1934, in Lincoln County, to the late Earl Austin Stroupe, Sr. and Mattie Tutherow Stroupe. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Lois C. Clark Stroupe. He worked as a carpenter.
He is survived by a step-daughter, Cynthia Flemingi of Connelly Springs; one brother, Johnny Stroupe of Newton; one sister, Mary Ann Sisk of Dover, DE; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
