Roger Dale Lemmond
( May 21, 1950 - July 29, 2016 )
Roger Dale Lemmond, age 66, of Denver, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 29, 2016, after a three year courageous battle with cancer.
A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00pm Friday, August 5, 2016, at Webbs Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Kathie Sherrill officiating. The family will receive friends in the Family Life Center at the church following the service.
Mr. Lemmond was born May 21, 1950, in Mecklenburg County to the late Joe Clark and Margaret Cook Lemmond. He was a licensed general contractor. He was a friend to many and loved by all.
Survivors include his wife, Laura; a daughter, Stella Duggins (Chad); grandchildren Hayden and Alexis Duggins; and sister, Cheryl Cole (Phillip) of Denver.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Webbs Chapel United Methodist Church Building Fund, 4640 Webbs Chapel Church Road, Denver, NC 28037, or to Hospice & Palliative Care of Lincoln County, 900 Donita Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092
