Marilyn Elizabeth Ryan, age 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 26, 2016.
A private graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Statesville with Rev. Dr. Michael Gehring officiating.
Marilyn was born November 19, 1942, in Passaic County, New Jersey, to the late Edward and Mary Grace Ryan, and was the youngest of eight children. She retired after working 25 years in accounting for Lowe’s Home Improvement .
She is survived by two sons, Ken DeFeo (Stephanie) of Statesville and Thomas DeFeo (Kathy) of Sherrills Ford; and four grandchildren, Thomas DeFeo, Emily DeFeo, Gabrielle DeFeo, and Nicholas DeFeo.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207, or the Arthritis Foundation, 4530 Park Road, Suite 230, Charlotte, NC 28209.
