Mr. Richard Kirby Phillips, age 71, of 231 N. Highway 16 in Denver, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2016.
Richard was born February 14, 1945, in Mecklenburg County, to the late John C. and Kathleen Paxton Phillips. He served in the United States Army and then later worked as a warehouse manager for Aviation Metals.
He is survived by a son, Scott Philips; and two brothers, Tom Phillips and Sam Phillips.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
