Michael David Shelton, age 71 ,of Lineberger Road in Lincolnton, died Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Michael was born May 28, 1945, in Gaston County. He was the son of the late Marlin Shelton and Eva Lackey Shelton. He was preceded in death by a sister, Merle Payseur.
Michael is survived by his sisters, Rachel Bainbridge of Greensboro, Judith Shelton of Lincolnton, and Janice Pryce of Sunset Beach; and six nieces and nephews. He will be missed and remembered by his friends for his wit and dry humor.
Services will be private.
