Edrice Louise Waters Holloway

Edrice Louise Waters Holloway, age 97, of the Brian Center, and formerly of Springside Lane in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, July 17, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Marvin United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Tate officiating. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2016, at Warlick Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home of Joann Brooks.
Mrs. Holloway was born May 24, 1919, in Cleveland County, to the late William McKinley and Mary Logan Waters. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ira G. Holloway, brothers Buford Waters and Gene Waters, and son-in-law Ronnie Brooks. She worked as a sales clerk for Lawing-Keziah Drug.
She is survived by two daughters, Joann Brooks, and Janie Baucom, and husband Mike, all of Lincolnton; one brother, Hugh Lee Waters of Lincolnton; two sisters, Edna Wease of Lincolnton and Ruby Stegall of Marshville; four grandchildren, Edye Brooks-Bryant, and husband Robby, Audra Ellis, and husband Rick, David Baucom, and wife Jennifer, and Greg Baucom; and eight great-grandchildren, Parker, Logan, Drew, Addi, Sydney, Shelby, Grace, Kameron, and Kaylyn.
Memorials may be made to Marvin United Methodist Church Youth Group, 2731 Startown Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
