Barbara Jeanette Abernathy Orr

Barbara Jeanette Abernathy Orr, age 76, of 3694 Summerow Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Bonnie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Orr was born September 12, 1939, in Lincoln County, to the late Mack and Thelma Rhyne Abernathy. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty A. Walker.
She is survived by her husband, Robert B. Orr, Jr., of the home; a son, Larry Dean Sisk, Jr., and wife Vanessa, of Dobson; two daughters, Kathy Hinkle, and husband George, of Buckhannon, WV, and Lori S. Cranfill, and husband Randy, of Yadkinville; two brothers, David L. Abernathy, and wife Geraldine, and Jerry M. Abernathy, and wife Vicki, all of Mt. Holly;
a sister, Rachel Abernathy of Stanley; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
