Rodney Allen Putnam

Rodney Allen Putnam, age 69, of 1088 Calloway Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Loftis officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Putnam was born November 2, 1946, in Lincoln County, to the late Allen James and Mary Hollifield Putnam. He worked as a lab operator for the City of Lincolnton.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Putnam of the home; two daughters, Wendy Putnam Starnes, and special friend Grayson Smith, and Amanda Putnam of Charlotte; and two grandchildren, Sydney Starnes and Abby Starnes.
Memorials may be made to Rankin Lake Baptist Church, 2705 Gastonia-Dallas Highway, Dallas, NC 28034.
