Mackie Ralph “Cabbage” Hull, age 81, of the Heath House in Lincolnton died Saturday, July 9, 2016.

His funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Hulls Grove Baptist Church- West with Rev. Travis Elmore officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at Hulls Grove Baptist Church- West.

Mr. Hull was born on July 30, 1934 and was the son of the late Cecil Leroy and Alma Johnson Hull.  He was a member of Hulls Grove Baptist Church-West for 10 years, enjoyed riding his bicycle, loved his dog and was retired from Hickory Chair.

He is survived by one sister, Hazel Hudson of Hickory; one brother, Jimmy Charles Hull and wife, Eva of Newton; caregiver, Mike Hull and wife, Trisha of Nebo and numerous nieces and nephews.
