Robert Neal Keener
( April 4, 1930 - July 3, 2016 )
Mr. Robert Neal “Bob” Keener, of 211 Rock Creek Drive in Lincolnton, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at home with his loving family.

His funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Bob was born April 4, 1930 to the late Ernest and Clara Ballard Keener.  In addition to her parents, he was also preceded in death by sisters, Birdie Ruth Keener Williams and Ernestine Keener; brothers-in-law CA Stamey and John Beal; nephews, Scott and Mark Beal, Donald Andrew Stamey.

Bob was part owner of Boger City Dry Cleaners along with partner, Ken Sain.  Bob served in the Korean War.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Betty Stamey Keener; one daughter, Robbie Denise Keener; son, Todd Keener and wife Tammy; grandsons, Caleb Keener and wife Eva and Noah Keener; brother, Landon (Bud) Keener and wife Rita; nephews, Cameron and Dane Keener; niece, Aneca Keener; sister-in-law, Jan Beal; brother-in-law Jim Stamey and wife Tellease; numerous other nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church, 618 S. Grove Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
