Patsy Elizabeth “Scoot” Brown, age 66, of 436 Hilltop Road in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, June 8, 2016.

Patsy was born January 11, 1950, in Lincoln County, to Mary Elizabeth Curtis Brown and the late Willard Kenneth Brown. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Curtis Brown of the home; one sister, Ann Brown of Lincolnton; three brothers, Kenneth Brown and Johnny Brown, both of Lincolnton, and Larry Brown of Crouse; six nieces, Cherish Carter, Candy Long, Tonya Gibson, Sandy White, Charity Williams, and Mandy Taylor; two nephews, Skyler Brown and Rocky Brown; great-nephew, Chad Perry; one uncle, Arnold Curtis; one aunt, Mary Goodson; and furry companion, Scruffy.
