Carl Dwight Cloninger

Carl Dwight Cloninger, age 63, of Mt. Zion Church Road in Iron Station, died on Sunday, June 5, 2016.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Warlick Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
Mr. Cloninger was born January 31, 1953, in Iredell County, to the late Carl Franklin and Frances Little Cloninger. He worked as a welding inspector for Duke Power.
He is survived by a son, Carl Steve Cloninger, and wife Amy, of Covington, GA; a daughter, Roxanne Crawford, and husband Scott, of Iron Station; two brothers, Dale Cloninger, and wife Barbara, and Billy Moore, and wife Phyllis; and two grandchildren, Charity and Caleb Cloninger.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, PO Box 70, Alexis, NC 28006, or to the Alexis Fire Department, 4221 Charles Raper Jonas Highway, Alexis, NC 28006.
