Earl Steve Stroupe

Earl Steve Stroupe, age 90, of Lincolnton, died on Sunday, May 15, 2016.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Boger City Wesleyan Church with Rev. Jim Schall officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Stroupe was born May 24, 1925, in Lincoln County, to the late Earl O. and Mattie Tutherow Stroupe. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Arzie L. McAlister Stroupe. He worked as a machinist for Cronland Wrap Roll.
He is survived by three sons, Ronald Stroupe, Ray Stroupe, and wife Pamela, and Cliff Stroupe, and wife Debbie, all of Lincolnton; two brothers, Johnny Stroupe of Newton and Wade Stroupe of Lenoir; one sister, Mary Ann Sisk of Delaware; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Boger City Wesleyan Church, 2803 E. Highway 27, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
