Obituaries

Mr. J.W. Kaylor, age 74, of 2226 Startown Road in Lincolnton, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 8, 2016.

His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Pisgah United Methodist Church with Rev. David Duncan officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2016 at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Kaylor was born September 13, 1941 in Catawba County to the late Gaither and Beatrice Drum Kaylor.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jodelle White.  Mr. Kaylor was a veteran having served in the United States Navy.  He was retired from Bellsouth after 35 years of service as a technician.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Anderson Kaylor of the home; three daughters, Janeen Kaylor, Johnna Kaylor and Jaquetta King and husband Patrick, all of Lincolnton; one brother, Glenn Kaylor of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren, Joshua Kaylor, Justin Anthony, Jesse Kaylor, Johnny Anthony, Haley Spivey, Jenna McGhee and Madison King; five great-grandchildren, Ezekiel Kaylor, Zoe Kaylor, Julia Grant, Aydin Anthony and Destin Anthony.
