Steve Alvin Warlick

Steve Alvin Warlick, age 72, of Carolina Care in Cherryville, died on Sunday, May 1, 2016.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nathan Grooms officiating. Burial will follow in the Crouse Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Warlick was born July 7, 1943, in Rutherford County, to the late Joe and Vergie Spencer Warlick. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Harley Warlick. Steve worked as a machinist in textiles.
He is survived by two sisters, Evelyn Peeler, and husband Earl, of Lincolnton and Gladys Biddix of Cherryville; and two brothers, Willard Warlick of Lincolnton and Hugh Warlick of Golden Valley.
