Thelma Irene Manning Castellana

Thelma Irene Castellana, age 99, of Abernethy Laurels in Newton, died on Thursday, April 14, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2016, at Denver United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Johnsen officiating.
Mrs. Castellana was born January 10, 1917, in Savona, New York, to the late Fred W. and Maude Nellis Manning. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Castellana, and a daughter, Joan Irene Seager. She worked as a Registered Nurse.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Hodge of Utica, NY, and William Storms; one daughter, Sharon Pitcher of Lakeland, FL; one sister, Gertrude Stuart Goodrich of Savona, NY; five grandchildren, Karen Haskins, Krystal Hodge, Autumn Caraluzzi, Tracy Pitcher, and Scott Pitcher; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
