Harold Neal Summey

Harold Neal Summey, age 74, of 325 Mull Road in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, March 5, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Jenkins officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
Mr. Summey was born June 13, 1941, in Lincoln County to the late Lewis W. and Lillian Sigmon Summey. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded by a sister Rita Sharpe, and a son Peter Page. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church serving in many capacities. Mr. Summey retired from the City of Lincolnton Police Department where he was a police officer for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice M. Summey of the home; one daughter, Jodi Gantt, and husband Lynn, of Lincolnton; one sister, Beverly Seitz, and husband Kenny, of Hickory; one granddaughter, Heather Bradshaw, and husband Darrell, of Denver; one grandson, Josh Kaylor of Lincolnton; and three great-grandchildren, Mason Bradshaw, Zoie and Zeek Kaylor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
