Clara Jean Beal Saunders Hartman

Clara Jean Beal Saunders Hartman, age 85, of Lincolnton, died on Friday, March 4, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Macedonia Baptist Church with The Rev. Dr. Randy Setzer officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Ms. Hartman was born June 3, 1930, in Lincoln County, to the late Mason and Sadie Perkins Beal. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by sisters Johnnie B. Gilbert, Bessie B. Leigh, and Willie B. Howard, and brothers Duke B. Beal, R.B. Beal, Darrell Beal, and J.D. Beal. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by a son, Danny Saunders of Lincolnton; two brothers, Joe Beal and Donald Beal, and wife Katherine, all of Lincolnton; one grandson, Travis Saunders, and wife Nicole, of Lincolnton; one granddaughter, Hayley Hoyle, and husband John, of Lincolnton; three great-grandchildren, Kynadee Hoyle, Leland and Lawson Hoyle; and sisters-in-law, Louise S. Beal and Marcene A. Beal
Memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, 5286 E. Highway 150, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
