Jesse Franklin Dellinger

Jesse Franklin Dellinger, age 85, of Keener Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Dellinger was born December 7, 1930, in Lincoln County, to the late Carl and Bertha Fortenberry Dellinger. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Crump Dellinger.
He is survived by two sons, Ricky F. Dellinger, and wife Sabina, and Donald F. Dellinger, all of Lincolnton; three daughters, Norma D. Leigh, and husband Todd, and Diann Ward, all of Lincolnton, and Karen Sigmon, and fiancé Steve Blankenship, of Newton; one sister, Willie Mae Chapman of Lincolnton; five grandchildren, Brandon Jones, and wife Kelly, Adam Jones, and wife Megan, Amanda Jenks, and husband Jason, Tiffany Sigmon, and Lil’ Ricky Dellinger; and four great-grandchildren, Kaylie Jones, Laney Jones, Brooks Jones, and Beckham Jenks.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
