Amy Denise Franklin, age 44, of 1217 Pete’s Road in Lincolnton, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, February 19, 2016, at home surrounded by family after a three-year battle with cancer.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harvey Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:30 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2016, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Amy was born September 9, 1971, in Lincoln County, to Mark Franklin, Jr. and Deborah Punch Franklin. She worked as a customer service manager for Zenith Freight Lines in Conover. She was a member of Huntington Hills Church of God in Hickory.
She is survived by her parents, Mark and Deborah Franklin of the home; a sister, Crystal Wilson, and husband Jason; a niece, Ashley Starnes; a nephew, Dustin Starnes; and a great-nephew, Finn Starnes, all of Lincolnton.
