William Gilbert Johnson

Mr. William Gilbert Johnson, age 62, of 3508 Windsor Trail in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, February 14, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Dan Griffith officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Johnson was born December 30, 1953, in Beaufort County, to the late William Cromwell and Verna Mae Deavers Johnson. He worked as a tool setter for Timken.
He is survived by a son, Adam Johnson of Lincolnton; a daughter, Amber Philbeck of Lincolnton; two brothers, Rick Johnson and Carl Johnson; two sisters, Becci VandenPlas and Judy Creech; five grandchildren, Harrison Johnson, Gabriel Johnson, Alaina Johnson, Benjamin Philbeck, and Sadie Philbeck; and two step-grandchildren, Madison Brock and Landon Brock.
Memorials may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 105 Old Tram Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
