Mr. James Russell Smith, age 78, of 3373 Anderson Mountain Road in Maiden, died on Tuesday, January 26, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Smith was born February 14, 1937, in Huntington, West Virginia, to the late Clifton and Mildred Stevens Smith. He worked as a windshield installer.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Tyler Smith of the home; a son, James Tyler Smith of Denver; a daughter, Tammy S. Clippard of Crouse; a brother, Charles Smith of Ohio; two sisters, Dorothy Proctor of Georgia, and Kathleen, and husband Bub, of West Virginia; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
