Helen Moore Helderman

Helen Moore Helderman, age 83, of 2845 Sadler Road in Alexis, died on Thursday, January 14, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 17, 2016, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Alexis, with Rev. Phillip Tillman and Pastor Joel Collette officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Visitation will be held from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Helderman was born January 8, 1933, in Hartford, Tennessee.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel “Tip” Helderman of the home; two brothers, Rubie Moore of Gastonia and G.B. Moore of Lincolnton.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, PO Box 70, Alexis, NC 28006.
