Harold Lee Martin

Mr. Harold Lee Martin, age 78, of 2877 Moose Gantt Trail in Crouse, died on Tuesday, January 12, 2016.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at Gainsville Baptist Church with Rev. Lander Heafner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:45 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Martin was born September 8, 1937, in Lincoln County, to the late Lee and Dora Willis Martin. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a stepdaughter Terri Fritz, brothers RA Martin, Pete Martin, and Curly Martin, and sisters Stella Avery, Ruth Avery, Margaret Sain, and Mozelle Palmer. He worked as a plumber.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Varner Martin of the home; a daughter, Deborah Martin Reel of Lincolnton; a stepson, Ron Mauney of Fallston; two brothers, Dwight Martin of Lincolnton and Dennis Martin of Florida; a sister, Evelyn Humphries of Lincolnton; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Gainsville Baptist Church, 270 Gainsville Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
